On September 9, a delegation led by Li Hu, Vice President of the Shandong Western Returned Scholars Association (Shandong Overseas-Educated Scholars Association) and Counselor of the Shandong Provincial Government, conducted a research visit to our university. They were accompanied by Li Quanji, Executive Vice Minister of the Weifang Municipal Committee of the United Front Work Department, Guo Chunyuan, Vice Minister of the United Front Work Department，Zhang Jianhua, Secretary of the University Party Committee，Xu Jie, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee，Liu Hanbo, Member of the University Party Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department。

Li Hu expressed full affirmation for our university's distinctive educational features and its achievements in both education and healthcare. He emphasized the need for the university to strengthen organizational support and leverage the Western Returned Scholars Association as a platform to actively promote academic exchanges, social services, and policy advisory activities. He further urged the university to create more opportunities for overseas-educated scholars to contribute their talents, guiding them to integrate personal growth with the university's development and the broader economic construction of the region. This approach, he noted, would continuously demonstrate the contemporary value of serving the nation through international education.

Zhang Jianhua said that the university will further enhance the development ecosystem for overseas-educated scholars, motivating them to take on greater responsibilities in their teaching and research roles. He emphasized that this will contribute more intellectual wisdom and strength to the institution's high-level, connotation-focused development as well as regional economic and social progress.
