From July 7 to 10, Vice President Liang Shujuan led a delegation to Japan for working visits to Seirei Christopher University, Okayama University, Kobe University, and their affiliated medical, educational, and research institutions. At Seirei Christopher University, the delegation held an intercollegiate friendly talk with President Masahira Oshiro and others. They visited the University's College of Rehabilitation Medicine, its affiliated Mikatahara Hospital, and the Disability Rehabilitation Center. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on talent cultivation, discipline development, and scientific research. They reached consensus on organizing academic conferences, promoting internationalization, and enhancing two-way exchanges for faculty and students. An unveiling ceremony for our university's Overseas Joint Training Base for Postgraduates was also held on-site. At Okayama University, the delegation held in-depth discussions with Professor Jun Takase, Dean of the Faculty of Education, and others on short-term and long-term students and faculty exchanges, joint graduate training, and the development of international programs. These discussions aimed to promote cooperation in areas such as health management education, mental health education, and sports rehabilitation. Subsequently, the delegation conducted a site visit to the Okayama University Affiliated Special Needs School. At Kobe University, Liang Shujuan presented a letter of appointment as a graduate tutor in Rehabilitation Medicine and Physiotherapy to Professor Hideomi Fujino of the Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Medicine, and signed a cooperation agreement. The two sides held in-depth discussions on scientific research collaboration, faculty and students exchanges, joint graduate training, and laboratory co-construction in the fields of rehabilitation medicine and traditional Chinese medicine. The delegation also conducted site visits to the Occupational Therapy and Kinesiotherapy Laboratories, as well as the Hyperbaric and Hypobaric Oxygen Research Laboratory. This visit has further expanded the university's exchanges and cooperation with Japanese universities and research institutions, injecting new impetus into the cultivation of high-level talent, the development of advanced disciplines, and the enhancement of high-quality medical practices at our university. During the visit, the delegation also went to the Osaka Association of Economy and Enterprise and Chichinoken Health Technology Co., Ltd. to promote industry-academia-research exchanges and cooperation and explore the establishment of overseas internship and training bases for students.
