On December 19th, ‌Li Xuan, an alumnus of our university from the 2004 grade and Director of the International Exchange Office of Northeastern State University in the United States, along with Lu Zhigang, the Director of the Beijing Office, and their delegation visited our university for exchanges and discussions. Vice President Zhang Zhong met with the delegation and held a talkfest on cooperation matters.‌‌

Zhang Zhong welcomed Li Xuan and his delegation, and introduced the basic situationof the university, its educational characteristics, discipline construction,and international cooperation. Li Xuan introduced the basic situation of Northeastern State University in the United States, its discipline distribution, and relevant policies for inter-university cooperation. Both sides conducted in-depth discussions on joint undergraduates and graduates training, teachers and students exchanges and visits, and other related affairs, and discussed the next step of cooperation plans. Li Xuan and his delegation also toured the university campus and cultural and sports activity center.

Relevant personnel from the Graduate School, the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, and the School of Medical Laboratory Sciences participated in the discussion.‌‌
